Hello Everyone,
As you all I know, I attended WrestleMania 28 @ the Sunlite Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Saturday
I started my WrestleMania weekend saturday morning as I head to the Sunlite Stadium to attend the WWE SuperStore and Meet Santino Marella. I arrived at approximately 0630 even though doors did not open until 1030am. I was nuber 5 there and as we got closer to opening the more and more people showed up to meet Santino. Only the first 300 got wristbands which guaranteed them an autograph and picture so I was pretty excited. The doors open and I continued to wait in line until finally Santino shows up at 1115am. Once everything got ready the line began to move, when I got to Santino I thanked him for being the United States Champion and told him that I was a Marine. I asked him to please make the autograph to Kailer, who is one of my best friends and he couldnt make it. He asked me how to spell it, but I had his name written on the wristband to make things easier for him. He read the name and signed the picture. When it was time for the picture I asked him to please do the cobra with me and he said "NO". At moment I felt like all the time I time I spend waiting was a waste of time. I never in my life excepted to be dissapointed in Santino, it was like he is this rich guy that was too good to make his fans happy.

mrejr's Wrestlemania 28 Review
Finally, the biggest PPV in the wrestling industry happened, and depending on who you talked to it was either exceptional or was kinda disappointing. I am in the disappointed camp as the show started off with a dud. There were several moments in the PPV the left me wondering why the hell they were wasting time when this is supposed to be the most exciting PPV of the year. There were some great moments but, as I'll explain, Wrestlemania just didn't live up to the hype.

Daniel Bryan (C) vs Sheamus
This match started us off and had longer entrances than the actual match lasted. Sheamus and Bryan came out to thunderous roars from a crowd that was expecting a war between the Celtic Warrior and The Vegan Champion. However, after getting a kiss from his girlfriend, A.J. Lee, Bryan ate a brogue kick and was pinned to lose his heavyweight championship in 18 seconds. I, for one, thought this set a terrible tone for the entire evening and took away from what should have been an all around awesome PPV. Daniel Bryan is one of the best performers the WWE has and they bump him from Wrestlemania last year only to embarrass him this year. The booking of this match made absolutely no sense. I would not be at all shocked if Bryan asked for his release after this. It was that bad. If there is any justice in the world Bryan gets a rematch at Extreme Rules.

Wrestlemania 28 Preview
Wrestlemania. The Showcase of the Immortals. The Granddaddy of Them All. The Biggest Show of the Year. Yes, it is that time where feuds are ended, and news ones begin. On April 1st we finally see the result of a match that has been built since the last Wrestlemania(or 5 years if you ask John Cena) in John Cena versus The Rock. We also get to see if the Undertaker's legendary streak can be ended by everyone's favorite son-in-law, Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee. Those are the two BIG matches. However, there is a very stacked under-card that promises to steal the show in the CM Punk and Chris Jericho WWE championship match to determine who is, in fact(at least in their minds), the best wrestler in the world really is.
We also get to see Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship, a 12 man tag team between Team Johnny(John Laurintis' team) and Team Teddy(Teddy Long's team) to see who will be the lone GM of both Smackdown and Raw, Randy Orton vs. Kane, Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show, and Maria Menounos and Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres. Below I will give you a rundown of each match and who I think will win.

Why The Rock vs. John Cena Has Sucked
Last year the WWE welcomed The Rock back with open arms and dollar signs in their eyes and quickly booked their attitudinal era star against the biggest, and most polarizing, superstar of this era, John Cena in a match at Wrestlemania 28. You read that correctly, there was a full year in between the announcement and the match. In today's wrestling world that is unheard of. The only difference between this feud and the old school feuds that would literally last for years is that while Rock and Cena would verbally disparage each other once every blue moon while the WWE served Cena a filler feud that really didn't have any consequences beyond the superstar feuding with Cena getting pushed back into secondary feuds and Cena moving on to his next pre-Wrestlemania snack and the Rock delivering mostly via satellite promos where his message and reason for wanting to do battle with Cena is because Cena has a vagina and is phony, private school rapper who mainly appeals to the kids that the WWE has decided to direct their programming to. That's it. Sure, there was a bland Survivor Series tag team match, but that was just to try add a layer of drama to this feud to get people to care. I'm going to show you why, no matter how hard the WWE tries, this just doesn't live up to the match that they are trying to remake in Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock that happened 10 years ago at Wrestlemania 18.

Marking Out From My Couch: Misc. Etc.... Yeah, I've been gone for a bit.
So, there has been a lot going on. Some of you may have picked up on the fact that my old podcast is up and going again (The Drunk Show), but not an excuse to ignore the blog. Back back again!
Your Royal Rumble Winner: Sheamus
Well hello there left field, didn't see this coming from you. Sheamus was a dark horse winner for me in what was an overall lackluster show. WWE in essence just trolled us all with the Jericho build up only to have him lose in the final two with Sheamus picking up the victory. Good for Sheamus though, glad to see he is going to get the nod and get a title match against the same guy that he got bumped off the card with last year. I hope Bryan and Sheamus put on such a good match they make the entire company regret bumping them last year.
